Synthesis and Design of Virtual Measurement System for Investigation on Photovoltaic Modules
A virtual measurement system has been developed in LabView environment for testing the main characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) modules. The survey was conducted with an autonomous PV system, built of two modules – one stationary and the other tracking the position of the Sun. Using the virtual measurement system are recorded the temperature of PV modules, the levels of generated current and voltage, the current of charge and discharge of the battery group. The values of the measured electrical quantities are transformed into a suitable form and are submitted through USB port to a PC using specialized controller DAQ6008. The realized output data is processed by an algorithm for separation and visualization of signals, then maintained and saved in a suitable form for further processing, analysis and visualization of results.Author(s):
