Fiber optic temperature monitoring system of power cable lines
Design of power cables with distributed fiber-optic temperature sensor is discussed. Typical technical characteristics of the developed systems of temperature monitoring of cable lines are presented. Assessments of the magnitude of possible measurement errors due to the inaccuracy setting parameters of the environment for calculations are given. The experience of application of the fiber optic temperature monitoring systems in Russia and, in particular, in St. Petersburg is described.Author(s):
