Distribution grid reconfiguration through Simulated Annealing and Tabu Search

When it comes to improving the power losses and the economic reliability indicators of an active distribution grid, the network reconfiguration is one of the most encountered solutions. Many algorithms are appropriate to carry out such an operation. A good comparison from the point of view of the results and computation performance can be made when Simulated Annealing and Tabu Search are used. Thus in this work the network reconfiguration of a system with 3 supply points and 16 consumer nodes through Tabu Search and Simulated Annealing will be introduced.
