Study of Nonlinear Behavior of the Buck Converter by Mathcad Numerical Simulation
The non-linear behavior of static converters is an important theme with a lot of mathematic and electronic approaches in literature. The paper purpose is to give a new simple and compact discrete model implemented in Mathcad software, oriented to the circuit behavior analysis using different functional representations. These enable to characterize the stability features. Moreover, representative case studies were done, leading to new interesting conclusions concerning the compensation possibilities. The examples are focused on a controlled buck type converter model and the associated stabilization methods, without additional auxiliary circuits.Author(s):
