Action Program /2014/IEEE-EMB RO Chapter
1. The IEEE-EMB RO Chapter annual seminars,
meetings, sessions, and workshops.
The goal is to identify the status of the community and to explore new
opportunities in consolidating the Chapter and strengthening ties with R&D,
industry, companies, and other IEEE Chapters. In 2014, the EMB seminars,
meetings, and sessions will be connected to the conferences ICATE, MEDITECH, EPE, INGIMED.
MEDITECH-2014, at the Technical
University of Cluj-Napoca

The 4th International Conference on Advancements of Medicine and Health
Care through Technology, MEDITECH 2014,
aims to provide a special opportunity for the scientists to exchange their
know-how and build up collaboration in one of the most human field of science
and techniques. MEDITECH is an IFMBE
conference, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE national Section and the EMB
national Chapter.

ICATE 2014, is an IEEE conference, technically co-sponsored by the EMB
national chapter

The aim of the edition 2014 of the
conference is to provide an international forum for scientific research in the
theory, technologies and applications of electrical engineering as well as in
related fields. It will be an excellent opportunity to debate modern approaches
and techniques in applications of interest. A plenary session and a special
student session will be also hosted.
There will be a Section on “Electromagnetic Compatibility and
Engineering in Medicine and Biology” – technically co-sponsored by our
Chapter and the EMC Chapter.

Iasi.
The 8th
International Conference and Exposition on Electrical and Power Engineering,
EPE’2014, 16-18
October, is an IEEE conference, technically co-sponsored by the IEEE
national Section.

The
3rd International Workshop on Electromagnetic Compatibility and
Engineering in Medicine and Biology, at EPE 2014 – The aim of the workshop is to bring together scientists,
engineers, manufacturers and users from all over the world to discuss common
theoretical and practical problems, describe scientific and commercial
applications and explore avenues for future research in - and connections
between – these two dynamical domains: Electromagnetic Compatibility
& Engineering in Medicine and Biology.

Workshop on Mathematical Modeling of Environmental and Life Sciences Problems, MMELSP
2014, October 16-18, is organized by the University “Ovidius” of
Constanţa and the Institute of Statistical Mathematics and Applied
Mathematics of the Romanian Academy.

3. Strengthening ties between academia and R&D,
industry, and companies in EMB.
The international fair for medicine and pharmacy ROMMEDICA, 26-29 March, 2014 is held at ROMEXPO.

The National Society
for Medical Engineering and Biological Technology, SNIMTB — an independent
scientific organization that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration,
research, application and dissemination of knowledge regarding the use of
modern technology in medical engineering, clinical and biological.

4. Other actions
