Signal Isolating Circuit Design of Focusing Alternating Current Induced Polarization Instrument Transmitter Used in the Coal Roadway

To form a good focusing effect and increase the detecting depth of excavation in coal roadway, the focusing AC (Alternating Current) IP (Induced Polarization) instrument transmitter used in the coal roadway requires to transmit five double-frequency modulated square wave currents which are controllable separately and isolated from one another. This paper derived theoretically the conversion relations between input voltage and output voltage based on the isolating circuit principle of the linear optocoupler HCNR201 with high precision. On the basis of circuit analysis, the author completed the selection and design of isolating sampling circuit on voltage and current and isolating circuit of control voltage and carried out an experimental test of the isolating circuit performance of transmitter. Experimental results indicate that the output current of the transmitter has high control accuracy and the percentage error is less than 1% compared with the theoretical value when the output value is more than 60mA. The isolating circuit design of transmitter meets the need of focusing detection in coal roadway.
