Home Appliances Conducted Emissions Analysis and Mitigation

Due to the large diversity of devices present in our days, for their better functionality, each and every one of them must be in accordance with the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) normative. One of the criteria that has to be met by the device is not to produce interferences with other systems, fact studied in this paper. It is known that electromagnetic interferences of a device can appear because of radiated emissions and conducted emissions. This paper will focus on the conducted emissions and will determine them for different devices, at the end also giving a solution for decreasing these emissions.
